Where to start?

Hi tuners, im new to all this dsm lifestyle. I have a 1998 gst auto. I have saved up $10k to dump in this car because i love it. Call me stupid i dont rlly care. I wish to make my car stick and everything i could do to it to make faster/better. Where do i start? My car is completely stock btw

If you don't know where to start just call up a big name shop and talk to them.. Give them your budget and you can talk to them what you even want to build your car around
Street, autocross, drag, road racing ect.

Lay out a plan. Determine if you want to have a set endpoint, or if you want to expand later as well. Some people set less ambitious i.e. cheaper goals that are easily attainable, some start off modestly with provisions for further growth (more $$$). Definitely aim at a specific type of build, there is no such thing as a jack of all trades in practice.

Start with Link & a wideband. No sense is spending all that money if you can't tune it properly right?

Then you can upgrade the injectors and the fuel pump.

Get any one of the Forced Performance turbo's, turn the boost up and you should have a lot of fun!

You should have a lot of $$ left over for maintenance, clutch, tires, stereo, etc
