Where to next?

Ok, this is where I am at. I just had my engine completely rebuilt, it had 164,000 miles on it. I had the head ported. I'm putting in a new clutch, a 2.5" HKS exhaust, boost controller, boost gauge, an injen intake and 1G BOV. Where to go next is my question? I'm planning on upgrading to a 16G next summer, the engine rebuild pretty much wiped out my big budget for this year.

Will I need new injectors and a bigger fuel pump or will the stock still suffice. Looking for some advice from the experts here. Also, anyone know a good tuner here in Des Moines, Iowa as I'd like to have it tuned as well.

well you sound like your pretty set until you want to do that turbo upgrade, until then you wont need the injectors and fuel pump. you could upgrade the fuel pump now but if your going higher then the walbro 190 ,u need a fuel pressure regulator.

before you go into the big injectors ,make sure you have a s-afc or something to control them.

The computer will be able to control everything just fine then?

I'm planning on picking up a logger as well and some IC pipeing.

the computer will work great until you go to the big injectors. if u plan to go with anything higher then the 190 then u need to regulate the fuel pressure somehow, the stock regultor will handle up to the 190.but after that its done.

the logger is a great tuning device especially in helping you monitor knock and timing.

i didnt have any problems with just having the stock computer until i went with the bigger injectors, then i needed control through the s-afc
