I'm getting ready to pull the tcu codes tomorrow and I have no idea where they hook up at. I'm sadly a victim of limp mode

Any help is much appreciated.

Dont know the exact year of your car, but....

I have a 98 spyde gs and I dont see anything where its supposed to be in that picture.

Aah your a 420a car then...
Should still be a F4A23 trans.
But a voltmeter with black voltmeter lead in either ground terminal 4 or 5 & the other voltmeter red lead in terminal 6 should get you codes when key is turned on.

I feel like a retard for asking but I am so beyond new to cars its annoying. I'm 17 LOL and learning how everything works but where exactly would I be plugging in at? Again, sorry for the stupidity.

A volt meter. In the diagnostic connector under the drivers side of the dash.
It looks just like the connector in the 1st picture I posted above.
Just make sure you get the correct terminals.

Just need to read the voltage pulses from the computer to get the code.
It will pulse the first number hold the voltage longer than the short pulses of the second number.
Hard to explain but it will become self evident when you do it for yourself.

Here look @ this picture, the voltmeter will pulse like this pattern for code.
The bottom of the line will be 0 volts the top of the line where the arrows point to will be the near 12 volt spike signals to indicate the code.

I read over where you said where it plugs in at... oops:ohdamn: is it the obd2 port?

Alright, thanks! I'll try it and post what happens.

Ive tried every single possible combination and it stays at zero
