What it says, where to pick up big enough gauge for the batt running from the trunk (hatch area) to the motor? I have checked local hardware stores and they dont have it. Thanks in advance. :hellyeah:

Fine strand, 2 gauge audio amplifier power cable is what I used. It is flexible, all copper, and has thick shielding. It is the best stuff for relocating the battery, in my opinion. The first wire I used was some of the plain stranded industrial 2 ga wire... For some reason, the stereo picked up some static from it. There is no static with the amp cable.

Update for all interested: I ran a separate Neg. 4Ga welding wire(copper fine strand) from battery to bellhousing starter bolt. Same from bellhousing to firewall and also another from neg terminal to trunk bolt in the back next to battery. Major difference in cranking power, night and day. MAKE SURE TO SOLDER CONNECTIONS, even if you crimp them def solder too. Flux it up good, crimp it with some greenleys(sp?) and then hit the connector with a torch and wick some good quality solder up in that bi***. Your groujnd probs/starter issues will disappear most likely.

I still plan on running a new starter positive line but its running so good now im going to hold off til winter. GL guys, just thought id post a sure fire way to make a relocate work.
