Where to find best price on Alternator and Starter

My car is starting to have some problems after a few months of perfect running...shoulda remembered its a DSM I am trying to find just a replacment alternator and starter. I have looked on ebay and found a combo for $65 shipped, but they are both used and kinda rusty. I have tried searching some of the sponsor sites with no luck. Anyone know where I can find a decent priced alternator/starter? THANKS! I gotta find this stuff before winter.

Just go to autozone or someplace like that and order a remanufactured alternator. It may be a little bit more pricey, but it also has a lifetime warranty and you can be sure it won't be a POS like a used one might be.

Just because they have a lifetime warranty doesn't mean they're not going to be POSs. In my experience, those are the worst. They give you a lifetime warranty because they know their stuff sucks. I went through a lifetime warrantied starter from them in about 6 months. I went through 3 alternators from them in around two years. The only reason I kept putting new ones in was because it was a free replacement. Oh well.
