im looking for valve spring seats for my bc single spirng and i was wondering where i could find oem replacements or if BC2910 would work for me? Another question i have is if the machine shop says they'll do a full head rebuild will they need me to buy new spring seats?

The BC2910 will not work, those are only to be used with BC dual spring set.

What happened to the OEM spring seats? There's no reason to replace the OEM seats unless you're putting in a dual spring setup. Or. unless, you bought the head without them or they've went M.I.A. In that cause a salvage yard might be your best bet.

Another question i have is if the machine shop says they'll do a full head rebuild will they need me to buy new spring seats?

If the machine shop is going to do a head rebuild typically they'll need the head complete (Keepers, Retainers, Springs, Spring seats, Valves and Valve seals) Because at the end of the rebuild process they assemble the head with those components for you. If you're to have A missing component such as a valve seat they would not be able to assemble it. In that case the machine shop also wouldn't be able to guarantee/warranty their work.

My old seats had chipped a little and idk if i should reuse broken seats so i'm looking for replacements..

And yeah i figured about the head rebuild.

I will guess you have some half moon chips missing from about 4 of the spring seats. This commonly happens with arp head studs, and people not paying attention to detail.

The head stud washer needs to be installed under the spring seat before the head is slipped over the studs.

The spring seat will over hang the head stud counter bore in a few places.

Hey Dale can you explain this a little maybe with some pictures or diagrams? I am gettiing ready to torque my head down on some new ARP hardware and want to make sure I am following what you are saying.

Ok There are 10 head stud holes. When using ARP head stud kits, 4 washers need to be in place before you slip the head over the head studs installed on the block.

Now there are 5 head bolt holes down each side of the head.

The 4 washers that need to be put in place are

Intake side 1 and 3 and exhaust side 3 and 5

Noticed how part of the spring pad casting has been machined away for the washer.
