Where to buy OEM valve springs?

Are you making it a stock head? If your throwing a set of cams in, you might as well go with a set of aftermarket spring and retainers.

HKS run like 200 bucks
Crower: like 260
Mad (from FFWD) but they run like 400 bucks

yea im going to be running fp2xs, ported head, oversized valves, im considering the manley springs from Slow boy, but my budget got cut short. my buddy is run stock springs in his car and its pretty built, hes got jks 272s and ported head. so i dont know

That site says $11 per spring and $4 per retainer. For 16 of each it comes to $240.

For $260-270 you could pick up a manley/crower set. Hell for $300 you could have a supertech dual-spring kit.

FP recommends elevated spring pressues when running the FP2X cams. I would spend a little more cash now and save yourself some headaches later down the road.
