where to buy a holset hx40?

i was woundering if you can buy one from like a dealer? because the ebay ones look kinda fake. or is there a way to tell if they are real on there?

Just keep an eye on ebay, but a lot of the ones on ebay are knock off's. Try searching wh1e as well. Or contact jusmx141 and see if he has any in stock.

on ebay you look for a used one, the new ones are almost all fake ones.

Did you check this forums classifieds? Im sure you did but I thought I saw some postings last week for a couple holsets. Mighta been HX-35's though. Ebay does have some good deals if you can find them. They are few and far between and they have to come from regular Joe's like us just trying to sell some stuff rea quick. Watch the feedback. Are you close to any diesel shops? If so, you can call them up and say you want that turbo. However, you'll need to know a lot more than just an "HX40". I was lucky when I called my local shop, the guy knew what I was trying to do and was able to help me figure out what I was really wanting. (HX40 describes a LOT of different turbo configurations). I wound up just getting myself an s362 from TimsTurbos. He hooked me up w/ a DSM housing so I didn't have to buy the t-3 or t-4 setup right away.
