where is the tac wire

i cant find the CORRECT tac wire to use for my remote start. no you cant use off the injectors or whatever, none of those wires work. i have a 98 talon btw and it says on direct techs that its a white wire "somewhere" under the hood or i can use one off the injectors which DOES NOT work

i know ive been looking for that thing for a long time now. i actually kinda just gave up and will randomly try and look for it sometimes

i have alldata, i will check and see if i can get you a diagram of where it is. and i will post it up for you.

this is all that alldata shows. hope it helps alittle. by the looks of it. it's near the throttle and cruise control cables.

Vfaqs has some great info and an ECU pinout so you can find the tach wire also have some diagrams.

I did a very nice write up because of 2g diagrams found online are crap.

theres no need to run the wire all the way into the engine bay.
