Where is a wire that stays on when the car is off for the E-brake?

Im trying to find a wire to tap into where it gets 12+volts down and 0volts when up on the E-brake when the car is completely off(key out and everything.) Im trying to do a remote start with my viper 5701 and I cant make the module switch to manual mode. I have a 5 speed gsx. I tapped in to the harness right under the cupholder. But It dosnt have any voltage when the car is off.

A remote start will continue giving the car gas until it starts so if you leave in first with the brake disengaged your car can and will drive off and into something, that is the main reason you don't here of many manuals with a remote start on them. The e-brake grounding wire insures this doesn't happen
