Have a 92 AWD automatic 4g63t 6bolt, thinking my TCU is bad. Where is it, someone told me it's the little 3 plug box behind the ECU. Like in the middle of the car where the radio is, then someone else just told me it's behind the passenger side kick panel and two plugs, and that the other one 3 plug is a traction controlled modual. Who is right or if both wrong where is it?

And is a FWD TCU compatible with an AWD? Much appreciated

Haha, yeah for future reference, FWD, AWD, TCU, and ECU are acronyms not abbreviations, you don't need the periods.

Yeah limp. Mode, fail-safe, 3rd gear all the time, will manual. Shift to second but that's it, really really sucks 9mpg
