I did not have the pleasure of starting with a complete engine to rebuild, I had to buy a lot of things, and a lot of things were not hooked up when I got the car.

What is this electrical piece?

Where do these two vacuum lines go to?

Where do these 3 ports go? (Not the BOV port...)

Also, I have an oil catch can. Does it go between the 2 vac ports on the left side of the valve cover?

Thanks for the help! :dsm:

the 3 other ports on the intake 1 goes to the charcoal canister(the bigger one) 1 goes to the port on the left side of the valve cover. the other one goes to the boost control solenoid.

for your catch can its only for the pvc the one on the top of the valve cover.

the 2 vacuum lines go to your fuel pressure solenoid.

i am not sure about the electrical connector.

Not sure on the first one.. could be the main ignition plug.

The second one.. that's your FPR, goes to the manifold/vaccuum source.

The third one.. those ports on your intake are for the valve cover (can be eliminated/capped with a breather on the valve cover or an oil catch can) The second is the charcol cannister, the third is the boost source.

All can be capped off if you are running your breather filter, and a boost controller (you can leave the charcol cannister uncovered).

Hope it helps.

The electrical connection is the power transistor. It goes under the below the plug for the coil pack on the block...i can take a pic of where it goes if you would like me too.

^^^exactly. Right below the coil pack, it bolts right below the plug for it.

thank you guys for all your help! Your posts have been rated accordingly!

I don't get how that electrical component can reach all the way over to the coil pack... It doesn't seem to reach that far.

Please take a picture for me if you have the time!

Which one of these two goes to the AFPR? And where does the other one attach?

Thanks!

the one on the right goes to the fpr, the other hose goes to the manifold.

Sorry Br. I am a retard, did not notice it is a '95. It mounts right in the middle of the manifold. Look down where the mani bolts to the head and you should see the hole(s) for it to bolt to it.

No Bro. I was mistaken. here is the pic where it mounts on the 2g. in those bolt holes

6 bolt in a 2G huh? Don't worry about the transistor pack. As long as it's plugged in it doesn't matter where it mounts.
Catch cans cannot be installed with a pcv. You must replace the pcv with a 1/8"npt straight fitting.

And like I said, it is a 2g intake, I just did not look as close as I should have.^^^^^pic of mounting point. :coy:

DOH!!!!!!!!! guess the EFI mold on the top should have tipped me off.(probably why I assumed it WAS a 6 bolt) so then yes. He has to mount it somewhere closer to the TB due to not enough length. I need a nap :p

This is where I stuck the vac line onto the intake manifold (behind the fuel rail) is this the correct place for it? This is the line right next to the FPR vac line.

Thanks!

Yes, that should be going to the FPR sensor (if you feel like running it). or you can run that stright over to the FPR and eliminate the sensor and a possible boost leak down the road.

really?
What's the point of the FPR sensor if you don't even need it?
Will I run into any issues by bypassing the FPR sensor?
Thanks for the input!
