Hey everyone... I went to replace my fuel filter today and when I removed the battery I noticed that there was a hose that was not hooked up to anything. Can someone please tell me what it should hook up to.

hmm.... I cant figure out how to post a picture. But, when you are facing the car it the furthest left hose and it has a grommet where it goes into the passenger compartment. If needed I can email a picture to someone if my description is not good enough. Thanks for your time and help.

Could be a number of things. I am not all that farmilar with my DSM yet, but some manufacturers use vacuum lines to control the HVAC system.
Might it go to the stock boost gauge?
When the engine is running, is there vacuum on it? Boost?
Could be part of the EVAP system that someone removed.

Oh, is it a black squishy hose? If it is, that is for your windshield fluid. On the Turbo Models, the reservoir for the whole car is in the back under the spare tire. If you follow it in the Haynes manual, or do it yourself, you will see that it is for that. And since you said it goes into the passenger side all the way on the left, and has a grommet, that is most likely it. Yeah, if you are replacing your fuel filter, you should see it plain as day. And QuadDak, why give advice when you arent even familiar with your own DSM yet. Not trying to be a d*&^, but seriously, that is like the blind leading the blind. Read the above, "Before You Reply", they are very picky about that here....
