Where do these go???

Hey guys, I'm just wondering where these two vacuum lines go.... I think they may attach to the intake manifold nipples, maybe for emissions? Anyways, what do they do and do I need them?

If I read it right, and the two middle nipples on your throttle body are bare, those two go to the Thermal Vacuum Valve. I'm not too familiar with it or what it does, but I hope this helps a bit. Perhaps a wiseman or 1g expert can shed some light.

If those two go to the Thermal Vacuum Valve and that's hooked up to the EGR, then Yes, they are emissions-related.

The TVV usually blocks vacuum signal to either the EGR or EVAP purge valve when it senses coolant temperatures are too low. When the car heats up to normal operating temperature, the TVV opens up and lets the EGR/EVAP systems work normally.
