Im trying to install my blitz turbo timer into my 2g, i cant find were to plug in the male and female ends of the turbo timer harness. I was told to look for a main blue molded plug, but i dont see anything open there i can plug the harness into. Can anyone help

hey thanks man. Yeah i read the vfaq, but they didn't include any pics. I have pulled off the lower plastic cover and stared down there with a flashlight for like 20 mins and i dont see anything.

take off the plastic covers around the steering wheel...then yiou cant miss it!! Look at your plugs on the harness, then all around the steering wheel column...All wires from ignitionlock goes to that connector, thats why you plug the harness in there. Its a rather big plastic connector. Mine was blue on the spyder

yupp , the two black pieces that covers the steering wheel column ( between the s-wheel and the gauge bezel).
You got three or four screws on the underside that you remove, then you pull the top plastic cover off and then the lover part as well. Then you will see all the wires and voila..there you have your plastic connector ;-) Cant miss it !

Nope not yet, how do i get the black covering off? I stuck a phillips screwdriver in there and it doesnt seem to be a phillips screw in there. Sorry for the noob questions LOL

I told you already, on the underside of the covers you will find the screws. They can be a little tricky to get a grip on since they are so far in the plastic cover, but try different size screwdrivers and you will find out. You need a screwdriver thats at elast say 4-5 inches long...the screws are not visible , they are a few inches up in the cover.

The turbo timer install on vfaq's is for a 2G. Is this the same on a 1G? Or is a 1G install different?
