Where do I look for a good 6-bolt

theres one for sale I believe still for $600.

This is from www.vfaq.com. I've never used any of these places but I thought you might want to take a look. $2000 is expensive for a 6-bolt that needs "minor repairs".

You can buy an already rebuilt 6-bolt for less than $2,000.
