balls rolling on this end to my friend!!!!!bhahahahahhaaha and some more evil laughing!!!

You me adam, we sleeping together to save money? i like back side of the spoon! lets get this shit set in stone!

Yeah I'm sure we could book a room. I'll take the other bed. You and Adam have known each other longer :|

Russ you get used to the pedal pressure. The truck i drive at work feels like your going to put your foot through the firewall at first.

...oh and a not so lazy update: My engine is almost ready to come out. I hope to drop off the head at the machine shop tomorrow too :)

Oh and, Here was my issue. This was replaced by an OEM one. Enjoy!

Wow i keep hearing more and more stories about after market throw out bearings failing. Makes me glad i just got a Mitsu TOB in the mail with my parts i just ordered. And no, they did not come from Slowboy.

Trust me. I kicked myself for not doing this the right way while putting my new block in.:banghead:

This time, everything was replaced with new oem parts. My master and slave are new, oem TOB, Fork and fulcrum. Just about everything came from Extreme PSI except for my stage 4. The ACT does seem to have some life left to it. But the springs are a little loose in the hub, which makes me think they could have popped out given the chance if the TOB didn't commit suicide first.

Yeah I wasn't chancing anything on an aftermarket TOB. I've been doing a lot of searching on sick pucks the past few days as I'll be needing mine very soon. Didn't come up with as much as i hoped for but i may be going with an ACT UNSPRUNG 6 puck. I was planning on going sprung, but the more stories i read while searching about springs popping out the more paranoid I am. I'm talking with a guy that runs a ACT 2600 PP and ACT unsprung 6 puck and it sounds like it's not too bad.

I think I may save my pressure plate, and go with an unsprung disk if I ever swap my mirage. I still need stickers for my tags, so I won't be driving the car up this weekend. It is running good now. I need to richen it up a bit, and add a tad more timing in a few areas. Right now its about 11.5:1 at about 19psi. So next week, I should be seeing some solid power.

Also, I upgraded to 10.9 bolts for my clutch from this bolt specialty place near my shop. If you guys want me to pick up some for you before the weekend, let me know by tomorrow. They're like $2 for the set of 6 with washers.

That a boy Russ. A not so lazy update on my end: Engine and trans are out and on the floor. This weekend I'd like to pull the head and trans off. Oh, found a killer deal on a 6 puck too! Clutchnet unsprung 6 puck.

Of course the day after i get my engine out someone plans a meet, geez. I guess my goal is now to have it done and running by 3/10 so i can put some break in miles on it up to Bel Air. Otherwise I'll take the GST.

What's going on this weekend? I'm down to get together tom. Anyone trying to chill? What's everybody doing?

Weekends are always busy for me doing side jobs but Thursday night we are having a meet

Thursday is my day off so maybe i can make it out. It would be in 2G but hey, representing one more running DSM to come see some others would be cool.

My laser is still in the garage so ill be driving the other car also

If it's raining like the 90% chance that they're calling for, i'll be holding off on the 45 min drive up there.

if it rains we can always go to the parking garage but most people dont show in the rain

Plenty of nice weather nights to look forward too, I'll stay at home if it rains.

Thursday i should be picking up my head from the machine shop anyways, which means...I'll have some work to be done in the garage anyway. The sooner i get the motor in and running, the sooner i can drive up there to put on some break in miles.

My tune is looking really good. I just need to smooth the transitions in my sdve table a bit. I'm going to milk every last drop of that 3xlbs per min out of that 16g!!

Are you guys doing anything over the weekend? I may take a trip up to Gooberlog County sunday...

Im down for whatever. We have two motors to pull out if your interested. You gonna bring old green down? Id like to see my twin.

Where the hell are the updates guys? All of a sudden, everyone just stopped posting stuff. I need daily reports...damnmittt

I don't really have any more updates, except for the Viagra-Strong pressure plate bolts I picked up today for Travis and Tony.

I may bring the car out if I can get my new registration before the weekend. If not I'll be driving the "Quad Turbo-BAMF" Mirage...

Quad Turbo?! WTF ?

I just picked up my cylinder head. I need to get some more batteries so i can take lots of pics as I complete my build. Tomorrow is my day off so i plan to spend lot so time in the garage getting stuff done. I may be too busy this weekend trying to get my stuff done since it's ready to go together now. I just need to get some small supplies and what not. Never know though. Tony what's going on up at the shop this weekend?

Russ i think I'm going to tow away the parts car next week. So this weekend is the time to play with it if you need to. I hope it will help you, but who knows.
