Good to hear Adam. Sounds like you're stepping up and gettin 'er done. I'm really glad you broke down and bought an OEM pump. Now you'll be able to sleep at night when you're done with your build. Are you planing on dropping in the engine at your house or up at JSi?

I think it is best in some ways to do it here, only because I dont have any wheels, suspension, control arms, ect..on the car and it would be a pain to put this together and then have it towed up there. Believe me I really would like to have a shop like Tony's to drop it in , but then I will have to focus on putting in all the other stuff first and would deture me from doing the main goal, which is putting in the motor! Plus..say I did take it up to JSI, when I have it in, I would have to tow it back because I'm sure with all these parts going in at once, I am going to be idling and driving like crap. The best option I feel is to take it slow, rent a pick, pull it off the stand, and drop it in here. Wire it up here, then crank it up here. I wont feel rushed. How I'm going to do this myself, ????? IDK.

Do you have a 90 OFH on the car now? You might have a 91+ OFH on there now and its water cooled instead of oil cooled. If he disconnected the oil cooler and it was still a functional part of the system, he would either of had to loop the lines or plug the M16 X1.5 ports on the 90 OFH. If not, you wouldnt have to take the oil drain plug out cause it would already shot out the OFH.. So its either a plugged 90 or a 91 style which is watercooled. Your post was a bit difficult to interprit.

Oh..NO GUNS. They resolve nothing quickly.

It does have coolant lines running into it. Id rather have the 90 style with the oil to air cooler. I can sometimes type up some shit that can barly be understood . Guns..No guns.....Ill go get my paintball marker then

Good luck finding an adapter for that. You may just want to drop the few bucks and get a Tial BOV as it is flanged for that. Tial is what your going to want anyway eventually if your pushing any amount of high boost, though the 1g bov is pretty stout and holds plenty of boost once crushed. The tial flange is larger , so re welding a new 1g flange might not be the best idea. You probably better off getting a peice of piping with the flange already welded and cutting the tial section out and replacing it.

The only problem that i can see is that where that BOV is may not be anywhere i need it. I was thinking of Filling in that flang and making a adapter and have it welded on somewhere where it will be usefule. Also i was thinking of making a custom turbo intake. But thats just me. Ill see what i can do

You can patch it, but it may be eaiser and more suited to just get another pipe made.

Been to mandrel bend solutions. Good place. Had them install a magnaflow muffler on my 08 Mustang when i had it. Anyway #### god dam FMIC piping kit doesnt fit for god dam shit "89 90 91 92 93 94 ECLIPSE/TALON FMIC INTERCOOLER PIPING" from Kazespeed ####in BS. I emailed them about it. Ill see what they say. My entire front of my car is off. Some of it is sittin in my bedroom and now this. God dammit Thank god its friday and there is a bikini contest and beer tonight

Update:

I went ahead and got another OEM front case and am going to start to assemble the motor tonight. I'm hoping to have the motor built by this weekend. Though I haven't ever assembled a motor, I think I have done enough research to do it. I need to learn to work on my own stuff right? I am shooting to have it done by this weekend and ready to drop in by next weekend so I can finish the wiring. Wish me luck guys.

1.) What slave did you use with your TD? I know certain ones are better to use with this than the 1g. Isuzu or 2g? Mine seized up from rust.

2.) After I bleed the lifters and drop them in, can they sit for a week or so, or should I wait until I'm ready to crank the motor to bleed and install.?

I just used a stock 1G slave cylinder. Gave me no problems at all. I have an Isuzu if you want to adapt one to use it. What twin disk are you using?

Honestly your best bet is going to be drive, tow, pull or push your car to Mandrel Bend Solutions and have them make you a custom IC pipe. Their work and labor is well worth the cost. If your shooting for 500 HP or less you'll probably be fine with a modded stock BOV and 2.5" IC piping. They can custom bend and weld your flange to exactly how you want your set up. By doing this you will eliminate a ton of couplers which are chances of one blowing off under boost and each one is another possibly boost leak source. The wait will be worth it if you save up and have a custom one made. Not many people have a shop like MBS near them to do this kind of work for them, we really are pretty lucky. Oh yeah, let me know if you need your car towed out there for a discounted price, that's kinda what i do.

Make sure you bleed your lifters before you put them in. You'll be fine with them sitting. That stuff can sit there forever, as long as no oil is added. If you do add oil, don't spin the whole rotating assembly, as they'll start to fill up.
