Whens the next Michigan Meet?

Also for anyone elses interest there is a meet on OCT 9th at Riverside Park at 3pm here in Grand rapids..Its gonna be bbq and lots of cars.

riverside park is off of ann street. you take 131 north to ann street. turn left onto ann street. go over the bridge and then at the light take another left. then you are on monroe(sp). just follow it down you will be able to find out where we are from there.

i would also like to know if its just a dsm meet or can other cars show up, because i am currently not a dsm owner, but hopefully i will be in the future not to far from now

Im prety sure its for any sport compact or whatever but i bet most of the dsm guys in town will be there.

im another michigander that rarely checks the community forums. i was reading way back in this post about trying to set up a meet in the mid michigan area. it may already be too late in the season, but if anyones still intrested in setting up any type of meet still i'd be more than willing to host it. i live in bay city, which is connected to saginaw. we could meet at my parents house or something theyve got a nice big yard and such for bbq'ing and whatever else may occur. ive never been to a meet, nor know what even goes on at one so, im going to need some help with planning and such, let me know


also, if theres anyone else in the tri-cities that meets or just cruises anytime, pm me or somethin reply here , i only know a couple guys locally with dsm's, and we dont cruise ever :thumbdown

we will deff have to set something up. probably next year. we should just keep this thread alive.

Anyone in the clarkston waterford pontiac area or whatever want to meet up let me know, id love to host a meeting somewhere. [email protected]. In waterford theirs a big car show on wednsday nights in front of a k-mart, lots of muscle but in a parking lot next to it, lots of imports, we could host it there, show up all the ricer kids with some tru dsm power.

Also met a few at stanton, there all seem to run high 11's to mid 13's. Most around here seem to be a little older. I know theres also a 650+ hp 1g gst that comes to some meets.

i'm way down here in south centeral michigan ... about 20mins from coldwater ( Brandon Tuckeys 10 second evo is over there ) and about an hour or so from jackson but i got a few friends with nice cars... 3 evo's 1 talon TSI and My GSX and possibly some more but my car is gettin the engine rebuilt now and it won't be out till mid april and i want to meet up with some other DSM'ers in michigan badd.... i have no-one around here that knows anthing about DSM's :thumbdown

i went up to lansing back in august and they have some good cars there ... next spring we'll set something up for a friday or satuday night in G.R. or B.C. and i'll get some of the DSM'ers from around here to come up

I'm looking to meet someone in Grand Rapids Mi with a data logger for a 1g. I have this feeling somthing is funky with the way the car runs and i'm on the ramen noodle budget so i can't afford data loggers. if someone is in gr with one and feeling kind enough to meet up and read my car's data and maybe explain wtf it means (i never used one) just pm me.
