hey guy well im new to the dsm thing i did the honda thing for a while now im in the dsm and so far i like it..i just picked up my 91 talon i traded it for my lil 4door civic for this talon and i say i think i go a good deal haha. well when i got the car the guy said it had a crushed bov or something and its pushing 11lbs which its nice but at like 5500 rpms it cuts in and out kinda hard but only when it hits boost hard...i checked out all the charge pipes and i have no leakes....i heard that it has something to do with the ecu have a safty thing on the fuel pump side,so i was wondering ### i can do to fix my lil prob..well any help would help me out alot thanks

Search the forums for fuel cut. I dont know how to fix it with the car in stock form and I still dont know how to post helpful links for you. But there are lots of helpful links here if you search. PS i just moved out of kennewick...

11 psi if the stock boost level. Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? You shouldn't hit fuel cut with only 11 psi. It sounds to me like a boost leak. How did you check that pipes weren't leaking? There is a lot more to boost leaks then just the charge pipes. Start by pressurizing your system starting at the throttle body and once your happy with the results then move back to the turbo inlet and do it again.

I agree, you have a boost leak. Its probably a pretty large one, make your self a good tester off the link above and pressurize it. Lots of people dont do it and think they can visually find leaks but its impossible.

The crushed BOV is a stock 1g BOV, where you slightly crush the valve where it tightens the spring. Allows it to hold more boost, up too 30psi and its stock!! No reason to ever upgrade.
