So when my car is completely off, doesnt matter if its been running or not, the boost gauge sits at 5psi under Zero. Is that normal? My buddies gauge in his srt sits at 0. Is the boost gauge broken?

When the car is on it reads 20-23 in the VAC (im pretty sure i got some leaks) and im pretty sure it hits the right amount of boost, but im not really sure.

When your car is off it should be 0 psi no vacuum and no boost rite in between the two.... Are you going off of your stock boost gauge?

The stock boost gauge is not an accurate source for boost pressure...one of the first things I bought for my car was an aftermarket boost gauge....before you try and mod your car or turn the boost up ya gotta know where your at

Mine does this too, I cross checked it with another boost gauge and as far as I could tell it was getting the same readings.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you had vac leaks wouldn't the gauge read less vac? I know when I blew off one of my vac lines my boost gauge read between like 4 and 7 and when I reconnected the line it read between 18 to 21.

glowshift gauge...not stock one. But yeah im going to borrow my buddies gauge this weekend and see what he reads.

I have a glowshift boost gauge and oil pressure gauge. The boost reads 0 with the car off, -15 at high idle, and -20 when she's nice and warmed up idling. Sounds like it's maybe hooked up wrong.

This is where it should be hooked up.

Also, make sure that the line isn't pinched going through the firewall, or behind the dash.
