I have a 91 FWD turbo eclipse. I recently installed urethane motor mounts in it, except for the rear mount. I also recently swapped wheels and tires on it with another car. Under acceleration sometimes (it is not always there) there is a strange vibration that seems to be coming from the right front tire. Could it be a CV joint going out or could it be from the stronger motor mounts or different tires? The new wheels that I swapped onto the Eclipse performed fine on their old car.

I've noticed after installing those motor mounts on a friends car, that it increases vibration inside the car a ton. After the install everything rattled. It wouldn't hurt to check your joints though.

Raise the front of the car on a jack and grab the tire at 9 and 3 o'clock and try to wiggle it.If there is side to side play like that you could have a worn ball joint or tie rod end on that side.Does it shake the steering wheel? Also grab the tire at 6 and 12 O;clock and wiggle it...if there is play in it that way I'd check your hub bearing.

"performed fine on the car" . Your definition and somebody elses of "performed fine" may be completly different.Did you drive the other car with those wheels on it?

It's not like your tires are out of balence is it? Or your not thinking of wheel hop are you if your spinning? I know it should be obvious but im just covering the bases.
