hey guys. i was in my friends bros eagleand we were driving and he was going about 35 and then gave it some gas and like the trannys wasn't working. all it did was just rev the engine then like 20 seconds later went back into gear. it was a 91 tsi all wheel. if u guys know what the problem is or if u had this happen could u please explain.

Not exactly sure what your saying.
On a manual trans a slipping clutch or broken axle can cause the engine to rev without going anywhere. On an automatic the trans slipping will do that.
