Whats the name of this actuator

Hey Guys,

Im a newbie from Australia

I have a 240hp Proton Satria GTI with an 2g 4663t conversion

Ive been having issues with starting and as soon as it hits boost after getting to running temp the car just studders and jerks around if you keep the accelerator on.

Ive got a boost leak from the actuator? next to/below the fuel pressure reg. (it has a vac hose onto it)

I want to fix it but cant find what its called any one got any ideas?

Is it a dual runner Cyclone manifold?

It sounds like your symptoms might be something else. Have you checked your coolant temp sensor?

No I havent as yet but I thought as it starts fine when hot this wasnt the problem- i could be wrong?

Maybe, maybe not. I was thinking along those lines because you said it runs ok when it's cold.

Intake Manifold Runner Control Actuator.

Sorry it runs bad when cold - but seems to get progressively better the longer im driving.

The actuator is leaking out the bottom does anyone have a photo of the bottom of a working one?
