I'm looking to buy an air/fuel gauge. I see there are two types. What is the difference between a wideband and narrowband. What one should I buy? My car is stock now, but I have upgrades planned. Thanks!

Go with the wideband o2, the narrowband aka blinky gauge is pretty much pointless and dosent tell you much. The wideband will be key for tuning your car and will make tuning your car alot easier.

There's about 20 mods you can do before you would *need* a wideband. I suggest doing the basic things like intake/exhaust/etc before the wideband as you won't really have a use for it until you start changing fuel trims with an afc.

Narrowbands register around the 14.7:1 range.
Widebands register around the 10.0:1-18.0:1 range.

I would get one(wideband) as soon as you do the basic upgrades, they provide a wealth of info.

Pick a vender and go with them, they are all about the same. Some have all the bells and whistles. Some just have the bells. While others have the whistles. :)
