lets see, i bought my car in october, on my way home the oil light came on, and the car started to bog i pulled over checked teh oil and it was empty. i then went and called the owner he said he would meet me at the car tomrorow and give me my money back or pay for the damages. so i went back up the next day and he wouldn't answer his phone or anything. he still hasn't talked to me since. it turns out the oil pan had a huge hole in it. the owner tried to fix it temp by patching it. the turbo was dead only 2 spark plugs were working and the o2 sensor was bad. so i had to replace those things and get new brakes. and then there was some other shit. i've now spent 2700 dollars on a car i paid 3000 for. (i know i over paid but i thought i was getting a really good car so i figured it would be worth it, it had a new head on it with 300 miles on the head.) but it is now running and i now have a coolant leak from somewhere. i hope i can find it soon. i hope it's not the head gasket.
 
My car was mostly a birthday present from my wife. I saw it on the net, talked to the guy for a price. She asked what he wanted, he said $3000. We went and checked it out and bought it, well on the way home I am admiring the styling of the interior and not paying attention where I am going. Well to make a long story short I'm checking out the dash and I look up just in time to see that I am in the path of a full sized van. Holy Crap, I say as I swerved back in to my lane and almost go in the ditch. I have been stranded 2 times by my car also. (bad alternators, do NOT buy anything from AutoZone) But all in all I couldn't have found a better car for the money spent. I love it.
 
ok now I have my worst thing happened. I was driving to see my wife at work tonite, and i am on the interstate on ramp off of mason rd. I get down on it a I hear a loud pow, but nothing is wrong, all my lights are good no water temp spike, tires good, but all the sudden my a/c light starts blinking, so I pull over to the side of the road to see whats up. The steering wheel is awfully hard to move, I threw my acc. belt, godamn:cry: It had it replaced along with the water pump/ alt belt with the timing belt replacement no 10k ago. oh well now I have the excuse to get a set of UDP's.
 
got the internals redone and juss finally put my N1 on yesterday... and today i'm having tranny probelms... and the my 1st laser the timing belt skipped 4 months after owning it and ####ed everything up.. i'm gunna buy a honda
 
Well the worst thing I have going on now, is my fuel pressure apparently dies when I rev past 4.5 k, and I run completely lean. I can't seem to figure it out. Also, either my clutch cable is indeed bad, or my 2nd gear synchros are shot.
 
About a month after I got my Talon, I blew a headgasket, took it in for repairs, and they said that someone had put the wrong gasket on before, and that the head was also "in bad shape". Total bill for that repair and a couple weeks later, a cooling problem repair was $2200
 
and actually after putting a new belt on today:mad: I find the belt had snapped and left a nice dent on the underside of the hood leave a peak on the opposite side. So the bad got worse (only a little).
 
i have also had the worst luck in the first month of having my 2g.
First off i bought the car found out the tranny was leaking oil on the to clutch disc, so that was shot then i pulled the tranny apart and found out that most of the bearings were shot in it. So there was a new tranny clutch, next we get the new tranny and the clutch in and im driving and the flywheel vibrated itself loose and was slaping around in the tranny so i had to take off the tranny and fix that. Next in the middle of a traffic jam in construction 9 hours away from any of my tools my clutch line breaks and i have no clutch had to pull on the side of the road and rig up the line with jb weld to get me to a store. After getting home later and driving my car around the lower control arm somehow broke lose and my whole wheel assembly came loose and sent my car to the ground at 60 mph destroying the side skirt and the fender. But yet its still not over i upgraded the turbo to a 16g had it on for about 30 mins and spun a rod, so there goes the motor, but now it is back together and has been pretty good so i am happy after rebuilding the whole car pretty much.

I guess that would have to be that the Honda boys started buzzing around my house and always phuckin with me now 'cause they gotta prove how vtec works. :barf:

I just ignore them by the way.

ugh, that is annoying, isnt it? i hate when people i dont wanna race cause they are slow rev at me and stuff, but when people i do wanna race just sit there. it sucks.
 
a few months after i got mine i lost control on dry pavment...and ended up in a (and i havent measured it...) 10'+ ditch. first cost...get it towed out...(and its fairly late at night...) around $130 (he had to repostion like 4 times.) then when i finally get it home days later...then up to a shop to have it diagnosed...spindle is bent...and front struts have to be replaced...ok...cheap struts...around $80...spindle from junkyard..$130 (i think...cant remember...)ok...im driving again...but it looks horid...dent in driver door...and big bash behind it...so i got the hook up and $500 more dollars later...fixed....bummper fixed as well, (now)...so all in all..around $840 (give or take some.) oh...and i had to have a shop replace the spindle for me since i could not for the life of me get it off....so that was some more...so almost reaching that $1000 mark...just for that little stunt...AGHHGHHAHGHH...i dont think ill be stupid anymore....i think what i could now have if i spent all that on mods...
 
Driving home on 680 through Fremont after picking my car up I was following my mom home (shed driven me down there). Anyway there was a good 2" drop in the freeway where two sections joined... Scared the hell out of me... the entire car shook & wrattled and I was sure I'd left a few body parts behind and blown out atleast one shock. Naturally, everything was fine I just was not used to the stiffer ride and cheaper interior of the GSX compared to my old 92 Passat.

About a week after getting her I'm coming home from school on a one lane road with a really long right turning lane. I'm giving my friend I ride so I'm in the right lane, hugging the right side of lane so I'm easier to see. I'm going about 45 at the time and the other lane is crawling. Yah, you guessed it some moron in pulls out right infront of me to pass... lock up the brakes rear end slides around a bit, came about 10 feet from rear ending the idiot. Got away with a cheap lesson that time; never fly by a line of slowly moving cars!

Two days later some old Chinese guy rear ends me when I'm stuck in a line of cars. I see him coming in th rear view mirror ... nothing worse than knowning your are going to be rear ended and you can't do a damn thing about it. Fortunately he just tapped me going about 5 mph.

The most frustrating thing was being chased across a 4 lane freeway by some soccer mom in a Ford Expedition. We were lined up window to window and she merged across all four lanes without looking a single time. Fortunately there wasn't much traffic so I was able to get out of her way... as oblivous as she was I imagine she would have run right over me without noticing a thing!

nothing scarier than a soccer mom... and they say that us teenagers are bad drivers.... dang.
 
ok, i bought my the middle of febuary, in uath. dealer told he just changed oil, clutch, and t-belt. drove it back home to idaho, the clutch starts to go out on me, it is a pain to get in to 2nd gear and reason y?. i change the oil the next just in case. oil and tranny fluid were shit, and they noticed fron and rear main seal r leaking. after they change the oil my lifters start tick. i talkd to the dealer and he admitted to me tat things he said he changed he didnt. then i went to the dyno and put on apexi dunk. now tat i dynod my car it is about to throw a rod. this all happend within less than a week and still without my car and looking for a 6 bolt. used car dealers suck.
 
just fixed crankwalk, did the 6bolt swap. Then on the way home from the shop the transfer case went out, and we are still waiting to see if the tranny is good or not!
 
bought my 93 eclipse...6 days later my piece of shit 7-bolt crankwalks on me...got myself a new 6-bolt jdm in now...that was a tough time as this was MY first car(drove parents car for first 3 years on license...86 chevy celebrity)...6 days in my eclipse, then back to the celebrity for 2 weeks...now thats rough
 
Went to pick it up from the shop I bought it from and fix it,But it got stolen the night before(LAST NIGHT) !
 
Balance shaft belt broke into pecies a few days ago. Hit timing belt, made it slip a couple teeth, all bent intake valves, intake cam rocker arms all go byebye, valves smash on the pistons, time for a new motor :(
