Stupid question...I know but I can't figure it out. Can't be the waterpump right? It just start smoking bad on my way back from work. And of course my temp gauge stopped working a couple days ago so I can't tell if its overheating.

Power steering pump! Never mind! Just gotta figure out now if the smoke is coming from that or the alternator hard to tell since its right above the alt. also the psp has a little oil in it as if its seeping thru the lines. Sound like it could be that?

I have not ever seen a PS pump smoke. The alternator will smoked if dripped on or I could be over charging and getting hot as well.

I'm gonna replace the leaky psp. Do you think the alternator will be fine? It's a month old
