Sudbury,
Alright, nobody can figure this one out. Drive to school and back its fine(10minutes max) Once I get one highway for about 15 min, stop at gas station and sit in line car starts running rough and making a tapping sound from underneath my car..more so on the passenger side?

Does this make any sense at all?

Its either your exhaust or the heat shield on the cat (if you have one still), they usually can be most heard at idle at a stop. it will be a rattling/buzzing noise and can be fixed with just about anything that could safely go between the shield and the actual cat. :thumb:

ok so if its my exhaust or the heat shield on the cat ....then why only hear it sometimes? and only after highway drives???

possibly because your giving the exhaust enough time to heat up and make the rubber hangers flexible enough to allow the exhuast to rattle, i would definitely start with replacing those, it is easy and cheap...also while your under there bang on the heat shield for the cat to see if you can simulate the noise.
