i can't figure out what it is, and i figured it would either stop or something would break by now. i bought the vehicle in march and its been making the sound since about April. I've changed all fluids and checked the brakes. I've noticed the sound starts when i hit about ten mph and doesn't change in pitch or volume the faster i go. it doesn't matter if i am accelerating or decelerating, turning or mashing down the brakes. any one experienced this or could point me in the right direction?

check your belts.... especially your power steering... if you see any cracks or "errors" in it... replace it... you should do them all why your at it.... just so you don't have to worry about it again..

OR cheaper solution would be getting a liquid called belt dressing sometimes that can take care of it on its own

(i think triple posting like that is considered bumping, which isn't allowed here by the way... be careful of it... if you have't read the rules yet i suggest you do)

yes sounds alot like your belts....does your battery light stay on? If the alternator belt is loose the light will come on. PS belts squeal also but ech belt is like $8 each.

sorry, about the bump.

i'll try to change the belts. i took a quick glance at them all when i bought it, but i will check them thorougly. thanks i will post again when i change them
