I tried to do some searching on the forums, but i started to get lazy. What parts/software whathave you, do you need to vent the BOV "properly"? MAF, MAFT, Flange, BOV...? wat else?

alsooooo..... i cant remember what else i was going to ask...

thanks, and sorry for the most likely repost, etc. :dsm:

where would i go to find these? ive been on dsmparts.com and some other places and havnt found nething...?

All sorts of stand alones, AEM, Haltech, autronic,... VPC would need to be bought used. ANd if you are asking a question of this nature your best bet would be to go with a translator and GM mas set up. Go to our sponsors page and click on a few of them, I know a bunch of them carry this.

didnt mean like that.... i meant if you knew of any.
heres what i found

MAFT - $195
MAF - 3.5" - $79.99
MAF - 3" - $129.99 (how does that work out that its cheaper than the 3.5"?)
3" Filter - $20 (used for what?)
4 Ply Couplers - 2.5-3.2 (or 3.5) - $20 (needed for... what?)
Extension Cable for Translator Extensoin Harness for MAF Sensor- $19 + $18(Is this needed)
TOTAL - $331.97 (not including couplers and using the 3.5" MAF)

having your car go wophsttttttttttttttttttt.... priceless

are these parts needed?:

3" Filter - $20 (used for what?)
4 Ply Couplers - 2.5-3.2 (or 3.5) - $20 (needed for... what?)
Extension Cable for Translator Extensoin Harness for MAF Sensor- $19 + $18(Is this needed)

thanks

Ok, you need the maf translator, 3" or 3.5" maf/ the 3 " maf can be found at several cars in the junk yard for like 30 bucks. You either need to buy couplers from 3" to 2.5" or you can just buy the dejon uicp like I did, so that it flares out to 3" already for the maf. And, an intake if you were still using the factory intake pipe

ok, thanks, but what are these?
3" Filter - $20 (used for what?)
4 Ply Couplers - 2.5-3.2 (or 3.5) - $20 (needed for... what?)
Extension Cable for Translator Extensoin Harness for MAF Sensor- $19 + $18(Is this needed)

what, if any, benefits does a 3.5" MAF have over a 3"? or vise-versa?

Ok the Extension Cable for Translator Extensoin Harness for MAF Sensor u really don't need, all u need is the translator, the couplings that go around the maf, u would want a 3" MAF because u want to put it close up to the throttle body, the 3.5 would be as a blow by set up, which basically is what u have already, its close to the air filter, but u don't want that.. so if u go to like slowboyracing, or any other site, look for a maf translator set up, with the 3" mas, that will be all u need.. everything come included, the extension cable is so u can mount the translator in the glove box for easy access..
