I bought a GReddy cat-back muffler (just the muffler). I think its pretty big and thinking it might hang to low to the ground when I do put it on. the length is good, but I think the diameter is to big. My questions is, what are normal sizes of the mufflers for the cat-back exhausts?

I had a Tsudo N1 muffler with a 2.5" inlet and a 4" tip... the body of the muffler must have been about 6" in diameter, but it fit just fine. After I replaced the stock exhaust and the Tsudo muffler with a full Apex'i exhaust, I didn't find any scratches or dents on the muffler.

ya i have a 6" body with 4.5" tip also...it fits fine without scratching or anything.

i got a sbr 3" turbo back with about a 6" muffler and a 4" outlet and so far it is fine. if you have any questions i would email sbr or any shop that installs performance exhaust on dsms

I have the Greddy Evo catback and have never experienced it scraping or hitting the ground

I think mine is the evo style one. Could you do me a favor and could you see if you could measure all the way around it. I measured mine all the way around and it was like 25.5". The tip on mine is 4.5". What is yours?
