Whats all needed to install a new t-25?

Ok well my t-25 is dead, i dont have the money to upgrade so im using a buddies turbo he had laying around. I know I need new gaskets and crush washers and all that, but is there a place where i can get a kit fairly cheap with all that I need to install another t-25? Thanks in advance.

New gaskets and washers. Thats it. You can use all of your old lines if you need to. Have fun.

Lol, yea I know I should be upgrading now but I dont have the cash, so the upgrades will come later in the year and the way expensive ones will come during summer.

You can get a used 14b here on the tuner for about 100 bucks. you can come up with that, its worth it. I have a 14b and love it. I think to swap the 14b you would nedd about 200 which will include all parts.

new gaskets and crush washers. costs around 125-150 for the complete package from the dealership. I do however, suggest you go the 14b route. costs 100 on classifieds and the install kit has all the washers and shit for another 150-200 and you will be ready to move on to a 16g later.

Well I got a new gasket kit from advance auto parts, now i need crush washers, will I just be able to go to a dealership to get those for a few bucks?

If existing car has a T-25 then all you need new is the turbo to drain and drain to oil pan gaskets rest reuses just fine.

Well I got a whole new gasket kit for the turbo minus the crush washers for 30 bucks, not a bad price and the peace of mind is worth it.

Just a reminder: Make sure all the old gasket material from the oil drain pipe is off the oil pan and turbo center section, otherwise the new gaskets may not seal completely and will leak. That happened to me after my 14b install and it required another trip to the dealer for a new gasket. It's always the little things that get ya.
