well about a week and a half ago a guy contacted my through here, he's a member and everything. told me he could hook me up with pretty much any turbo i wanted. well i went with the evo III big 16g. he said he could get it for me for 650 shipped with the install kit. sounds like a great deal huh. well its been a week and a half like i said and still no turbo. he said he sent it priority mail, because it was cheapest. (understandable) but whats not is that he didnt get a tracking number. i paid for this through pay pal and got the money back gaurentee thing you can add on for like 30 bucks. do u guys think this guys a scamer or maybe a beginner scamer? or just a dumb ass who doesnt know how to ship a package off. what you guys think!!!!!!!!!!

if he threatened all that my guess is he is trying to scam you. if he were being honest he wouldnt threaten anything and he would say i shipped it out sorry it was late give it time. kinda very super fishy. and if he gets an attorney it wont do him any good cuz he would be going against the postal service if there is no evidence of a delievery it would be because the F*ed up. I would wait a lil bit but if you paid for the money back thing go ahead and get it back and let him try to do what he has to do. a scammer wont go and try to fight it cuz he would have no ground on which to do so

No...Priority mail doesn't come with a tracking number. You have to pay like 10 dollars extra for "Delivery Confirmation". Trust me, I know these things. And the turbo was sent buddy so filing something with Paypal won't get you your money back, trust me. I had this happen before and I have eyewitnesses at the Post Office that can vouch for me since I'm there so often. I know the man by name that I ship everything through. The turbo was sent, I'm not some rip-off artist, and I wouldn't recommend trying to get money back on something I sent. You'll lose out because people pull shit like this ALL the time and I'm not having it happen to me again. If I see a Paypal claim filed I'm calling my attorney and taking this beyond Paypal because I feel like you're pulling my leg at this point. Not happening my friend.

yup i have all the e-mail he has written to me! so i know i wont get ####ed over! ive had it happen to me once. little bastard. but i dont know why if he is a scammer, Why wouldnt he get a tracking number to back him up. thats whats making me say ok the turbo is on its way. so i dunno man! im all pissed off. he told me in the start he could get it to me in 10 days.. so... and its been more than 10 days now!

Any honest person wouldnt have that tone or curse if you are there "customer" and they are running a legit bussiness. you cant get a good rep. if you act childish. With that said, what the guy said was true. You have to pay extra for 'delivery confirmation' on a USPS package. It sounds to me as if the guy is just cheap and sent it snail mail, to give himself the biggest profit margin possible. Also, where does this guy live? Is it possible that he's in an area like New York, New Jersey, Penn., Mass., etc., that just got bombed with snow? Really theres no need to freak out quite so early, when someone grounds me a package from across the country it can take an easy 7 business days.

Delivery confermation at usps is like $.50-3.00 im pretty sure. I know what that feeling is like when you feel like you have been screwed luckly in your case you use paypal i got screwed using western union.

ok.. I read this... and could not help but add a post to this thread. This guy is a JOKE. Don't believe a word he is saying, him threatening to contact an attourney on 'merchandise not received' is ridiculous.

I was scammed a year back for $350, which was not through paypal -- but a money order. You spent your money on paypal, you are covered.

Don't waste time, when you read this, go to paypal.com and go to resolution center and file a complaint. They will e-mail him asking for a tracking number. (delivery confirmation). if he does NOT have it, which he didnt spend the extra $1.25 on, it will ask him for his receipt number and location number, where they will contact the post office and see the status of the package he supposively sent out.

You doing this in no way voids the sale, makes it where he can 'contact his lawyer about it' or anything like that. It is your right to be fishy about this -- and paypal, dealing with millions of transactions, takes the BUYERS side, so file your report ASAP, and get back to us.

PS. Had he sent it delivery confirmation, it is guarunteed to arrive 2-3 business days. And his "friends" at the post office will not vouch for him, they send out over 200 packages a day, and will not remember your name and address.. him saying that is a joke. .

wait a week, then file the paypal thingy. you will get your money back and paypal will be on YOUR side and go after HIM. let him call his laywer/attorney/cochrane, its not gonna help if he has no proof of a ship being made to your house. some post office empoyee saying "yeah i shipped it" means jack shit in the court. tracking # is everything, people lie. itll be on him for not covering his ass and getting the tracking#. everything, EVERYTHING uses a tracking # nowadays, he just didnt get it.

basically ups/fedex/usps can look up your adress and tell you if anything is enroute to your adress, if theres nothing coming then you got screwed. file the claim, call his bluff. im like 100% guarantee with the emails he sent you any judge will be on your side, not the seller.

he did a number of things wrong if he is a real seller.
1. didnt get confirmation # for his own records
2. didnt get confirmation # after you asked for it
3. threatened you to cover his ass
4. has very poor customer service, and needs a ass whoopin.
5. obviously from his email, youre not the first person pissed at his service.

well i just asked him for the shipping reciept, and he sent me back a e-mail saying, "alright sure no problem he'll scan it and send it out tomorrow, he said he keeps all of them"???????????????????????????

Yeah but if you file the claim and I have the receipt, you're gonna lose the claim because I'm gonna call my lawyer and take you to small claims court if the Paypal claim goes through and I lose money. I have proof that I sent the package, you don't have proof that you received it. I don't recommend filing a claim but do what you want. I'll have the receipt in your inbox sometime tommorow. Either you have the package and are bullshitting me, or it's really lost in the mail system, either way I'm not taking a 600 dollar loss here when I have proof.

don't take to long to file a claim. you only have so long to file. if you win because he has no proof of reciept there is not a thing he or his lawyer can do. with it being so much it sould have been insured so that if ti was lost like he said he would get his money back for the lost product.

I sell enough over the net to say that he is an idiot. If I sell something expensive, I will always insure it and pay for delivery confirmation out of my own pocket if the buyer doesnt. I do this to cover my own ass just for this very reason. These charges normally run $1-6 for both, not $10. If he is the seller and didnt do this, he is responsible, not you. You purchased goods that have never arrived, so it is the sellers responsibility to either refund the $ or reship and file a claim with the postal service. Paypal only gives you 30 days to file so keep that in mind. Good luck and let us know what happens.

Man, stop screwing around and file your claim already!! It sure looks like a scam from what you've posted. Even if it's not, the claim can be cancelled with no harm done. Think about it, even if he did call a lawyer, what the hell is he gonna say? I have no proof that he recieved the shipment and no proof that I shipped it besides my buddy who works at the post office who really has no idea I'm using him as an aliby? Get your claim stared!!!!

I wouldn't worry about any of his threats. He's the one with the problem if he's trying to scam you. If he's threatening you like that, I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of getting your business and making a profit. I say just file the claim, get your money back, buy another turbo somewhere else.
