I didn't even notice it was a 2g. Bruce, you are correct. On a 2g, the BOV is one of the first, if not the first mod that needs to be done. The stock 2g BOV's have a plastic base and leak at more than 12psi, which is not good. However the 1G upgrade BOV is fairly cheap so that upgrade and the 3" ex. could still be done at the same time.oldman said:Actually, BOV is one of the first mods for 2Gs. Like Dan said, it's more like 12psi at best, I have help many with it leaking at around 8psi. TheRealist, hopefully you already have a aftermarket boost gauge as both bov and exhaust will change boost characteristics.c5chris said:At over 14 PSI it will start leaking.
