420A what would i need for my 420a if i turbod it?

You don't have to but your toothpick rods will break. Get a built bottem end, Low compression pistons and eagle rods. Buy a star kit or a hahn racecraft and call it a day. Seems like you don't know to much in order to build your own kit yet if you don't know what to do.
 
The piston ringlands are the first to go. You can run 8psi on the stock block. Hahn and star kits are nice and work well. However if you want to build a kit you will need a turbo manifold, turbo, downpipe. FMIC and a piping kit off ebay works well. Blow off valve, the 1g is a good one. Then you need a fuel pump. walbro190 is good and a 12:1 FMU at least. A SFMU and 30lb injectors or 450cc are a good choice. You need a boost gauge, I would run oil pressure also and maybe EGTs. Also need oil feed and drain lines. A WBo2 would be a good investment also. You could get all this stuff for a lot less than a kit and this would be a better set up.
 
550cc injectors are to big to tune with a SFMU unless you is going to get something to control them with. I wouldn't recommend it just because its more stuff to buy. 310cc will be plenty for 8-10psi. I ran 440cc all the way to 18psi on a 16g with the SFMU. Built bottom end and timing controlled by MS also.
 
No you can not use 4g63 pistons. Only pistons for a 420a. those are expensive anyways. You can get 420a pistons for like 450
 
Yes those are the pistons that you need. The only different between stage 1 and stage 2 is that stage 2 runs an intercooler and stage 1 doesn't. The boost is still around 8psi so its ok on the stock block.
 
You don't need a built bottom end... you can run ~14psi with a good tune without a built bottom end. Most of it depends on the turbo. I'm currently running 10psi on a stock engine.
If your using a 12:1 fmu you NEED a Walbro 255lph hp fuel pump, it's the only Walbro pump that will support the high pressures required by the 12:1 fmu @ 8psi. (And it barley handles it.)
Do some searching next time, you will find this has been covered countless times and you will find your answers quicker.

Edit: BTW the Hahn Stage 1 kit runs 5psi; w/o an intercooler you can see 300* intake temperature which isn't good, which is why you need to keep the boost down.
 
A little searching could have yeilded the same results, you can check out awddynamite for his results with his 420A-T that pushed into the low 11's. There are also many other how-to's and threads of many peoples builds.
