I dont know if its coincidence or not, but my FMIC sits a little lower on my car than most peoples, and today it scraped a bit when I was leaving a parking lot. Shortly after that, my turbo started acting funny, it will boost to 5 then drop back to 0 like I left off, but I dont. Could it be that my FMIC pipes got rattled and disconnected maybe? Any help would be great. Thanks

that or you cracked a weld on the core. I would check the couplers as it sounds like as you build boost its pushing a pipe out of the coupler.

Don't be lazy and just look actually re tighten each side of every coupler and then test drive it before looking at the core

I have support beams that keep the fmic from actually touching the ground, and I did check for weld breakage, and there is none. I have a coupler that attaches the intake pipe to the turbo that seems a bit loose, so could that possibly be causing this? The coupler that connects my lower ic pipe to the actual intercooler appears to be a little loose as well, so I will check both more when I get home tonight. Thanks

Its not mounted upside down. The person that helped me install it just did it lower than I told him to because hes not familiar w dsms at all. Im going to check my couplers when I get home, and hopefully that solves the problem

Well i did a complete boost leak test and there was one minor leak at a coupler attached to the fmic and i fixed that. The problem had to be the loose intake pipe.Sorry, when i originally posted this thread i was at work and in a rush and didnt have time to take care of it there.Once i got off work and fixed up the intake she was boostin hard again.I probably should have just done a thorough check before consulting y'all, sorry yo.
