ok...ive asked this a few times a few different ways and got no good answers...

which is more logical....buying a 4g63t and swapping it in...or turboing my 4g37

i found a jdm 4g63t complete with the block, turbo, intake manifold, complete head, sensors, exhaust manifold, alternator, starter, distributer, headers, wiring harness, and a/c compressor for $1200 shipped --------> what else would i need, where can i get it cheap, how much more will it cost, and is this worth it??

if people seem to tell me to turbo my 4g37.....send me a link or tell me where i can get a turbo kit for my 4g37 PLEASE?!

thanks....tj

I remember some guy turbocharging his 4G37 and making a whopping 125whp, i think it would be pretty fun, but you would be way better off putting in the 4G63T, and you would have a turbo car with non turbo insurance.

easier, turboing a 4g37, harder but more worth it, 4g63 power. You see, when you turbo the 1.8 you keep the wiring harnesses and wiring in the coil and everything, and you just add the turbo and injector resistor pack and new ecu. However, when you do the 4g63 swap, you not only add the turbo stuff previously mentioned, you add the ecu and all those things, plus the coil a few dozen sensors. I know this is as clear as mud, so pm me if you have any more specific questions, I know both motors well.
