What turbo is as big or bigger than the EVO III and never creeps?

hey SpoOLxExO, no problem man im glad my thread is helping people out. But honestly, listen to what oldman is saying, he knows what he is talking about.

Well, for some reason i have just had a very very personal problem with this "boost creep" and for some reason i just dont want it to beat me, i want to figure this out soo bad. I am trying to cope with my 2.5" downpipe and 3" high flow cat, more or less the cat, i want my original no cat exhaust sound back sooo bad. I would be able to deal without the 3" downpipe, seems as if i would never really need it anyway. Well good luck with everyone else that is getting help from this thread. Sounds like we have all of the right guys checking it out right now.

I held 24psi daily driven with the flapper mod till redline with my evo3.

Wait, you mean you have an external dump, right? I have heard that, but does an external wastgate make any more noise, even when it is routed back into the exhaust?

Let me be clearer. I have a 40mm tial wastegate with the dump tube routing the gases outside the engine, not back into the exhaust. I would assume that an external isnt any louder than an internal if both setups are routed back into the exhaust. But as most people would agree, an external wastegate is the better option in terms of boost control.

It looks like it allows the section to flex a little when it heats up and moves around. It would take the stress out of that section so it doesn't fatique it.

It also could be a quick disconnect to dump to the bypass outside of the exhaust.
