Nitrous and an upgraded turbo are two completely different ways to go. Nitrous is cheaper, but you can run out and it's not constant. Turbo is more expensive, but it's power that will always be there instead of hitting a button.

I'd say go with the turbo. Oh yeah, and it's not a good idea to call it NOS around here, DSMers will start exploding.

it dont matter if you win by an inch or a mile wining is wining

My question is, Why do you have all those mods and a stock exhaust? They're not really doing you any good. Nitrous is a bandaid for power. You have a turbo car, You shoulden't need nitrous yet.. Why not try getting more mods or a bigger turbo and turn the boost up? I hope you have double layer welded floor boards also... You definatly know they're going to blow out and you'll hafto sit indian style while you jump hills.

sry typo i have an evo man. w/2.5 piping and highflow cat w/ magnaflow muffler and i have the boost at 27 psi already so all i need to no is a 100 shot NOS or a holset.

27psi on a evoIII 16g?? Your next mod should be dsmlink so you can see how badly you are knocking :)

If you like 27psi on a 16g, get a bigger turbo over nitrous oxide.

But its still out of its efficientcy range. If you want to run that much boost, get the holset. Then save your money for a 3" turbo back exhaust and then worry about"NOS".

dude just get em both! thats the answer you were looking for huh. spray it out the whole for tha lag

First thing NOS IS A COMPANY, NOT A PRODUCT

Second,
Whether you go with a Holset (HX35 or 40) or add a 100 shot of nitrous, you will probably go past 90% injector duty cycle, if not 100%, so you will need to upgrade injectors as well.

Make sure you get two of the big ones, you'll need it by tonight. We'll put it on my tab at Harry's. I gotta get you racing again so I can make money off your ass.

check outhttp://www.dsmtimes.org/fastest.htm notice the fastest 4g63 powered dsm is without nitrous which needs to be updated also, because he ran a 7.113 at st.louis last weekend. :thumb:

ya but only 9 of the next 30 fastest aren't using nitrous...plus, we are talking about a car with a huge turbo, rwd, and tubage going on.

Heard of the new F&F 3 movie, starring Napoleon Dinamite. (There running Spoon engines GOSH.) The problem is you sound like a ricer when you call it Nos, you might not be one but it sounds unintelligent.

I would go with both, just not a 100 shot of the spray. Get a turbo that is really big and wont spool up with your 2.0l of displacement and then run a 50-75 shot when you want to go fast. Just my .02c

I just bought the new ZEX Direct Port kit for my car. I am having the lower end built right now. The ONLY reason I bought the nitrous is because I am putting a larger turbo on, and will need it to help with spool. In my opinion, you need to just get a better turbo. There is a big difference between even a EVOIII 16G and a 50-trim. I prefer the bigger turbo, just remember that eventually those 2G pistons or something else will fail, and the nitrous will more than likely be the culprit.

I would say get a video screen put in your car to let you know of manifold danger, as a safety precaution. LOL

ummm,ya. Remember crap goes in the hangout
