This is probably a stupid question.

However I know of a few ways people I know do it with theirs but they all are running 10-15psi whereas im going to be running 30+ and worried about sucking something into the intake.

Any ideas for something strong I can close this off with without welding it closed?

Just get a plastic cap that will fit over the hole and tape it down if you don't care about how it looks or get it welded shut.

if you dont care how it looks, go to home depot and get a rubber cap (should be in the pvc pipe section) and hold it on with a hose clamp.

mines got some sort of alluminum plug held by a hose and clamp. works fine for me. but idk how much diffrent itd be with your setup.

Mine has the aluminum plug as well. Be cautious when using a plastic type plug because it can melt/disfigure itself, thats what happened to my buddies..

Go buy a litre-O-Cola and take the cap off. Place it on the hole and use a bolt clamp to tighten is down.

My car came with a turbo smart plug. its a big plug made of aluminium kinda cool. only downfall is its supposed to be used with the stock rubber intake. so yours would have a small piece of hose then the plug in it. they still sell them as "blanking plugs" on there website.

A plastic cap with tape? That's not very good advice for someone looking to run 30psi, let alone 15psi. I've had couplers with clamps pop off under only 23 pounds of boost. You would at least need to use a t-clamp. Welding it shut would be a much better idea but the OP already said he's not looking to do that.

i thought of this a wile ago the rubber cap on the end a crutch so they don't mark the floor i think there perfect given they are the right dia.

There's no positive pressure pre-compressor. ;)

Whatever you use, just make sure it can't come loose and go through the compressor. If it were mine, I'd weld it shut. That's the best solution.
