what to use for 1g jpipe extension?

wll i did a 14b turbo install on my 2g and i tryed cucumbers idea or flippin the LIC around to the 1g jpipe but im comin up about 5-6 inches short...so im geussin i should fil the gap any ideas on what to use??? ifi just use rubber hose for 6"s will that have much affect?? or will it be ok...any ideas?

when i did mine, i used a stock 1g compressor outlet pipe, one small 2.25" pipe, and the rest is 2.5" rubber hose. i bent a coat hanger to match the length and curve the pipe needed to be, then headed to the auto store. i used the 2.25" pipe to seperate the two hoses:

P.S. pay no attention to the brake fluid sprayed courtesy of that damn clutch cylinder sitting on the transmission, which serves no purpose at all. aside from blowing a clutch line and causing my pedal to stick. will be removed in the coming hours.

i had a couple of people tell me that the rubber hose will severly harm airflow and performance... though it doesn't feel like it. and considering i threw together my 14b install kit for $40, i'm not complaining

yeah im only missin a few inches so i geuss ill just use a rubber hose and clamp the shitout ofit hopin itholds up
