What to do with rust? (pic inside)

I have a small rust spot/bubble starting to show on my drivers side fender, directly in front of the tire. I am not sending this car to get painted anytime soon, but i dont want this to go too far. What are my options?

Sand it down, use some rust remover on it (I got some stuff at Walmart that worked good), primer it with some rust-eating paint, and try to match the color as best as you can with a final coat. It may not look pretty, but it's better than a hole in your car.

if its a fender, get a new one. cheaper in the long run i bet. if not, do what he said
