Okay, so one of my buddies is looking to get rid of his '90 Laser RS Turbo FWD. It only has 87k miles on it, but the body and interior are in rough shape. He said he'd sell it to me for a couple hundred bucks so I'll definitely buy it off him if he decides to part with it.

Anyway I was hoping to get some opinions on what to do with it. I don't really have use for a third car and I would like the 14b and bov for my 2g. I'm basically just wondering if I should part it out. The only thing that would stop me would be the fact that it has such low miles and is in good running shape.

If I do go this way, I was also wondering what parts other then the bov and turbo would be worth putting on my basically stock '95 TSi AWD.

Keep it and use it as a winter beater, Maybe do a couple small mods for grins. Otherwise to keep the MPG as best as possible.

I wouldn't part it out just to get a 14b and 1g bov, both of those can be found relatively easily and cheap. I would either make a project out of it, sell it as a whole or just use it as a back up DD.

I really don't want to part it out either, but I would also kind of feel bad selling it for more since he's practically giving it to me.

Maybe I should make a small project out of it. I guess I could paint it and fix all the cosmetic stuff, add a few upgrades then, since I would have put money into it, I could sell it guilt free, and have had some fun with it in the mean time.

^^Yeah that's probably what I should do... fix the broken corner light, repaint it, and replace the missing and broken interior pieces, then sell it. At least that way the car would be saved and someone else could enjoy it since I really can't do much with three cars right now. It shouldn't cost that much either so I'll probably go that route.

Thanks for the opinions guys.

Can we get pictures, maybe?

My brother has a red one sitting on the other side of my garage... been there since 03 when he went to Iraq, recently discovered it is full of water. Really bums me out. I've been wanting him to get back into them since before I got mine, as a sort of hobby, to help alleviate the stress I can sense he feels on a daily basis dealing with his wife and kids (they even make me want to  sometimes). His only qualm with that is that he'll have to lose a little weight to fit behind the wheel. LOL
