Ok i done a 6-bolt turbo swap the motor smoked a lil bit and It had a bad vibration, decided to rebuild the motor well yesterday I was tearing it apart and it appears someone changed some of the main bearing but not all off them the center main bearing was pretty ate up, the front balance shaft bearing has a BIG groove in one side of it, it appears the motor has been pretty hot before, the crank has some grooves in it but could be turned, I'm getting a new crank. The cylinder walls dont look to bad either can still see the crosspatch. My question is should I have this block line honed or line bored? I am also eliminating the balance shafts, should I have the rotating assembly balanced? I dont want a whole lot of vibration considering I do have Polyurethane motor mounts. Also whats the price range I'm looking at to get my rotating assembly balanced and block line bored or line honed?
any help would be appreciated
