I have a 92 awd (4 bolt rear dif.)and lost reverse. So I went and bought a 90 tranny and put it in. I tried to put xfercase on and wouldn't go. So I counted and my xfercase is a 23spline and the tranny is a 22. I still have my old tranny and I read somewhere else that it is possible to swap the output shafts. I don't think I would do that myself becuase I don't have any expierience with the internals of a tranny. I could do that or I was also thinkin...would a 22spline xfercase work on my driveshaft?

Is anyone sure that there aren't any differences in the splines for the driveshaft.....I just don't want to go buy a transfercase and that not work either.

ok, I'll go ahead and try it...hopefully it works.

Yea, someone else told it should work and he has a 90 yolk that I could have if it doesn't work. Thanks for the help
