Hey guys... I need to pick up some stainless turbo and exhaust studs sometime soon. I was lookin around online and I figured it would cost me over $100 for the exhaust, turbo, and flywheel bolts.. which I think its a little outragous.

I know I can pick up the turbo studs and probably the exhust studs at a hardware store, so I was just wondering what size and thread pattern they were.

I'll just order the flywheel bolts from slowboy.
The turbo and exhaust studs are going to be for a 2g.
thanks.

The turbo uses 4 bolts ideally, factory they come with 3 bolts and 1 stud. DO NOT buy these bolts from the hardware store... Buy them from your local Mitsu dealer or from SBR or whoever sells genuine Turbo bolts. Hardware store wont sell an 11 grade metric bolt with the correct tip thread and pitch. As for the studs I suggest ssstuds.com, good price and service, good product and fast shipping.

I am not sure of the turbo thread, but the exhaust manifold is an 8 X 1.25 thread and the Valve cover is a 6 X 1.0 or 1.25 (can't remember which). I think the turbo is a 12 X 1.25 but I am not sure. Either way I would not recommend getting the turbo bolts from a hardware store. SBR has everything you need for reasonable prices
Also use some anti-sieze on your turbo bolts, it always sucks when you break a bolt.

the turbo bolts to exh manif are a fine thread and you won't find them locally. Forget stainless steel also just use the factory bolts for turbo and flywheel.

I ended up getting the exhaust manifold studs at autozone... around $10 for the studs and nuts for them, much better than the $30 + shipping slowboy wanted for them, and ordered the flywheel and turbo bolts from mitsu.
Thanks for the help.
