I'm trying to figure out what head gasket size i need. My built 6 bolt motor came with a Cometic mls but not sure on size, i know im using 86MM Wiseco forged pistons pn# 6559m86, i'm not sure if i need the 86mm or the 87mm head gasket, also wondering is these pistons .020 over or .040 over? Thanks

So it looks like 86mm is .040 over, and that people have used the 86mm hg with .040 over, my old one measured out to, 86.35. But should I just go with the 87mm one or the 86 for more material/stronger?

if your piston bore is 86mm then go with the 86mm but if you are unsure the go with 87mm it will be fine. it is best to get the one closest to your bore if you can call dealer and ask there advice
