1G What parts are these?

Hi everyone,

I'm finally getting around to replacing the head gasket in my 92 TSi and I have a couple parts that I'm not sure where they go. I'm currently at work so I don't have any pictures to post right now but I can post them when I get home.

There are three small round plastic pieces about an inch and a half in diameter and 1/2" or 3/4" inch wide. They are black with a small hole through the middle and they have a smaller circle piece that is just a bit bigger than the hole that comes out about 1/8" around the hole on each side.

I tried to describe them as best as I could, If anyone knows what they are and where they go that would be super helpful.

Do you know where I could find a vacuum schematic? I have the earlier version of the 1g

I actually don't have anything on my hood anymore, my spark plug wires caught fire a few years back and burned up everything but the metal on the underside of the hood

It's Ok, mine is still there (even though the battery positive arched and melted part of the hood frame, possibly thanks to the PO removing all sort of battery retaining system) and yet I still searched for it on the service manual!
