What part next?

I figured that I would post here since most of the talk here is for the big HP#'s and you guys have more exp. than in the NU B section. What do you think I should get next? I need to replace my H/G soon and have ARP studs going in. These are the few thing I can think of. What do you guys think is most important? looking for 400 hp on pump, being a street killa hell with 1/4 time due to traction problems. Also a daily driver.

I don't know much about the 18G but is it even capable of 400 whp on pump?

they said its is but I doubt that. I bought a scm50 trim and will be putting it on this weekend. what would be the best thng to get here?

I would go with some cams,

then a gm maf

then dsm link to tune it all nice and tight

Definately think about that Shep tranny. Eventually the stocker isn't going to hold the kind of power you want to put down. As previously stated, cams, dsmlink are going to help a lot.

I would put DSMLink at the top of that list. Tuning is so very important once you get larger than stock injectors. Next I would look into cams. The 264/272 intake/exhaust combination is supposed to make for a smoother idle, and therefore more streetable setup, then the 272/272 combo.

dsmlink... as soon as i can get ahold of an eprom ecu for real cheap im gonna get dsmlink, 650cc injectors, afpr, pump, etc etc. then a few months later... agp 50 trim and agp fmic.

the point is that you need to tune before you throw on big power adders.
