im not familiar with what percentage of tint would or should look like, but this guy's 2G has a really good balance of tint and visability imo.

EDIT: i would like to know at a guess the tint of the rear window as well.

I would guess about 5% on the back and quarter windows and 15% on the roll downs. I used to tint and a buddy of mine still does so I would say that is an educated guess more or less.

I would agree I work in shop that does tint, I would say it is prob 6% on the quarters and back though. in most states that is illegal.

no way is that 35% on the roll downs..
the pic was taken on a bright day.. u could usually see a lot more through 35%+ tints during bright days.. seeing as i can barely see anything through the roll downs is leading me to believe its at least 15 or less..

i can see right thru to the building... and the roll down window to the dash and steering wheel

something you can't do with 20%

rear is probably 20% as are the rear sides. your eyes are being tricked folks.

I got 35% (legal) all around... next time I am getting 20% on the hatch and rear windows for certain.

anyone know the limit in nj? i know the front windshield cant be tinted at all someone told me the sides either but i dont think thats true

I have 20% all around, and you can't see though them into a building, you can see the wheel and dash, but not through the other window.

It could depend on the quailty of the tint aswell.

It is a very bright day in that picture. It could very well be 20%.

You could see that well through my Mustang also on a bright day and Virginia State Police metered mine at 17%. The visibility through window tint has alot to do with the weather. On an overcast day, You would have problems seeing the wheel through 35% but on a sunny, bright day, it would look as if there is hardly any tint at all.
